FAQs

Can I drive to Domaine de Canaille?

It is not possible to park a vehicle on the estate. We therefore advise you to book a cab or take advantage of the shuttle service that will certainly be available from Saturday afternoon (central meeting point in Cassis). If you are planning on using the shuttle bus service – please make sure you tick yes in the RSVP section.

What is the dress code for the events?

Welcome Drinks – Friday, September 12th: Garden Party. We will be dining and mingling outside by the sea for the event, so we suggest you bring a jacket with you, as the nights can be chilly!

The Wedding – Saturday, September 13th: Black Tie. The whole day will be outside, so it may be best to bring a jacket in case the temperature drops at night.

The Recovery Day – Sunday, September 14th: Pool party glam. Think relaxed summer style, with swimwear underneath if you fancy a dip.

Are children invited?

Kids are invited to the welcome drinks on the Friday night – as well as the ceremony on Saturday, however they won’t be able to stay for the reception. If you require babysitting services, please get in touch and we can pass on some additional information.

Does my invitation come with a +1?

The names of the guests invited to the wedding will be outlined on your invitation. There is a hard limit on the number of guests that the venue can host – so if your invitation only has your name on it, we ask that you come and party solo.

Is there a gift registry?

No – we don’t have a gift registry. We know that you have all put a lot of time, effort and money to be at our celebration and we absolutely do not expect any presents. Your attendance is the only gift we need!

We also know that some of you won’t take ‘No’ for an answer, so we have come up with an (optional) gift idea that will be special and meaningful to us for a long time.

If you feel so inclined, we would love for you to gift us a book that we can add to our bookshelf once we rebuild our home in McLaren Vale. It could be your favourite novel, a coffee table book, or even a cookbook to help Jonny finally get some skills in the kitchen…

We would also love it if you could write a small message on the inside cover with either a memory that we share together and/or why you have chosen that book.

If you would prefer to post the book (so you aren't lugging it around on your travels), you can send the book to 51 Lefevre Terrace, North Adelaide, 5006 South Australia.

Any other questions?
